Nasal Endoscopy and Laryngoscopy Procedures

Camino ENT performs nasal endoscopies and laryngoscopies in-house, so your examination, diagnosis and treatment can be handled by our professional staff from start to finish.

Nasal Endoscopies

A nasal endoscopy involves inserting a flexible fiber-optic tube with a light and camera at its tip into the nose to examine the nasal passages and sinuses. This is generally a completely painless procedure which takes between 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

Laryngoscopies

A laryngoscopy is a way to examine a patient's vocal folds and the space between the vocal cords with a medical instrument called a laryngoscope. The type of laryngoscope used depends on the procedure being performed, but office-based diagnostics are often performed with a transnasal flexible laryngoscope. This instrument can be used when a patient is awake so the vocal cords can be seen during speech.
